What this generator provides

The question engine combines topic descriptions with question templates. It is a teaching aid, not an official examination-board paper or a complete GCSE, A-level or Advanced Placement question bank. Its knowledge, understanding and analytical labels describe requested wording; they do not certify examination difficulty. Check factual accuracy, relevance, answer options and the mark scheme before assigning a paper.

How to create a useful paper

  1. Choose Class 11 or 12 and select only the chapters your students have studied.
  2. Set the questions offered, the number students must attempt, and marks for each question. These values determine total marks.
  3. Generate a draft, then read it carefully. Use Edit, Replace or Delete to correct unsuitable questions.
  4. Open the answer key. Multiple-choice answers and open-question marking prompts need teacher review; the prompts are not full model answers.
  5. Download Word to edit the assessment further, or PDF for a fixed layout. Check the downloaded document before printing.

For revision, start with carbohydrates, enzymes and photosynthesis. Use the course collections to choose relevant notes.

Frequently asked questions

Does a large topic bank mean thousands of independently reviewed questions?

No. Topic descriptions are combined with templates to produce question variants. A teacher must evaluate each question and answer before it becomes a valid assessment item.

Are the generated questions official past-paper questions?

No. Board-style wording describes a format preference. It does not identify questions as authentic past-paper items or imply approval by an examination board.

Why can total marks be lower than the marks for all offered questions?

Marks are calculated from the number students must attempt. Offering six questions but requiring five at two marks each gives ten marks for that section.

What should I check when choosing Word or PDF?

Word is suitable for further editing. PDF preserves a fixed layout. Review equations, special characters, question spacing and the answer key in the downloaded file before printing.

Can this replace an official UK or US biology specification?

No. Check your current GCSE, A-level or Advanced Placement specification and its assessment requirements separately. Use this tool for supplementary teacher-reviewed practice.
